The Platinum Tools patented EXO Crimp Frame® and interchangeable die system was developed for single cycle crimp and flush trim every time. The comfort grip frame and three die set system is as versatile as it is easy to crimp and terminate cable and connectors.

The EXO Crimp Frame® has a patented push button lock, ergonomic comfort grip TPR handles and comes complete with three interchangeable and reversible die sets for ambidextrous operation: EXO-EX Die™, EZ-RJ45® Die and the EZ-RJ12/11 Die.

The EXO-EX Die™ was developed to terminate larger cables and conductors (typically Cat6/6A). EXO Crimp Frame with EXO-EX Die™ is designed for the ezEX-RJ45® connectors. The ezEX-RJ45 connectors are an RJ45 pass through connector, developed for larger cables and conductors. Integrated Hi-Lo stagger for improved performance, one piece design pass through system.

The patented EZ-RJ45® Die is used with the EXO Crimp Frame™ to terminate EZ-RJ45® connectors. The EZ-RJ45® Die is interchangeable and reversible when used with EXO Crimp Frame™. Designed for the original pass through EZ-RJ45® connectors which have been a standard in this industry for many years.

The EZ-RJ12/11 Die is used with the EXO Crimp Frame® to terminate EZ-RJ12/11 connectors. The EZ-RJ12/11 Die is interchangeable and reversible when used with EXO Crimp Frame. Designed for these new and improved EZ-RJ12/11 connectors. The EZ-RJ12/11 connectors are designed for terminating EZ style RJ11 or RJ12 connectors.
